SEPTEMBER 2023

As of September 2023 I am one of thirty artists represented by the Bradford Gallery in Bradford-on-Avon near Bath. First stop was the 'Fresh Art Fair' at Ascot race course over a weekend.


JUNE 2021

As of the 1st June, I am one of 25 resident artists represented by the Woolverton Gallery. I have four works on display including two 'Negative Space' ones and two of my latest 'Hybrid' works. There is a wide variety of paintings on show and recommend a visit.

 

MARCH 2021

Good news that my painting 'Men at Work' was in Grayson Perry's top three artworks on the theme of 'work' on Channel 4. The production company has been in touch about it being available for Grayson's exhibition later this year - WOW!!

MAY 2020

Really chuffed that GRAYSON PERRY featured my artwork on his show 'Grayson's Art Club' on Channel 4 last Monday night 11th May. The theme this week was 'fantasy' and my picture sprang up on screen for about 5 seconds with my name captioned (spelt correctly!)

JANUARY 2019

I came to bit of a crossroads in my painting last year, the first for many years. I enjoyed painting a lot of small pictures outdoors and in - but where do I go from here with my studio exhibition work? After experimenting with possible solutions, I had the idea of negative space, (a device used by some artists whereby you draw the area around a subject to give the central subject form) but I took it literally - to define what the eye sees to form an instant recognition point. eg: What attracts, shape, form, a narrative etc? but enough of this arti bollocks, here is the result (hopefully) of my dilemma
